When you want a laugh…
May 10, 2007 | 3:25 pm…read this thread on the Java forums. A guy posted this question:
What are the different algorithms in Java? Can someone list me each and its uses?
And, read the 56 responses he’s gotten so far. You could write a book off them…
Here are some samples:
An unattached trunk on the beach may still be a trunk (I think they are collected and installed in American cars)
So, if we could find a good algorithm for counting American cars, the same algorithm might be used to count basket ball playing hippopotamuses.

Man, aren’t geeks fun(ny)? I laughed out loud on many of them, but showing them to my brother would’ve gotten me just a blank stare in return. Remind me in a decade: Gotta marry a geek…
Thanks to Abhina (Who works on the VS C# Team) for the link! Is that forum the place where you get ideas for new features from? J

Due apologies for this comment not being related to this
witnwisdumb | May 11, 2007 | 4:21 pmDue apologies for this comment not being related to this post. I was wondering if you could help me with xampplite. I recall you’d blogged about it a while ago. I’d downloaded it much before that, and tried to use it for testing a WordPress site offline by simulating the server environment WP requires. I wasn’t very successful, though. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Hope you got my Email dude.
