Jailbroken iPhones

iPhone Mania #3iPhone Mania #2iPhone #1iPhone Mania #4

Crowding over a Jailbroken iPhone - the thing is famous over here. The people in the colored dresses are our Teachers - the best ones in our school :) This is the second iPhone I am physically seeing, and it belongs to a student here(the leftmost guy on the top-right pic). This one was brought for 30k Rupees, which is approximately $750! A tad too much for an 8 gig model, don’t you think? The first one I saw belonged to Prabhu, one of the organizers of pipesCamp :)

I wonder why people are not as fascinated by the ipod touch. I personally think it is better computing device than the iphone.

(I still hate the marketing policy of limiting functionality for the sake of profitability though :))

U guys are making me jealous with your iphone in hand.

Yuvi, the banner of your website it says “wannabe geek”. I live in London and I came across a lot of Indians @ school, previous workplace and previous residence. For a fact, I can tell there’s something in India which is hard for me to explain : I think it’s because of the competition in the education system. But many indians are naturally brought up as geeks.

It’s a compliment : you are already a tech geek.

My flat-mate(he’s Indian) was telling me the other day how almost everyone in India is getting into IT from early age and even “dobies” are investing in stocks. That’s just impressive.

So it’s time to change the banner and set the record straight. “Yuvi the tech geek”.
