Lives are changing

Next Wednesday is going to be radically different from this. My life is going to change, for the better or worse. Wish me luck: College starts tomorrow.

My advice is not to get caught up in distractions. Remember what your goals are and work hard to exceed them. There’s a time and a place for studying, having fun, and relaxing — time management is key.

Have fun. Don’t waste time, and remember to continue with your forays into the computing world. You can do a lot more during college years than you can once you start working. Network with people, professors, colleagues, seniors.. that will decide where you end up in life.

Also, if you do have ragging (still) in Indian colleges, remember to downplay your abilities. If your name is known, a lot of people will give you shit (for the first few weeks), but some of them will end up being your best pals.
