Revision 94 in GoodFather: Major Milestone
November 29, 2008 | 9:00 pmAn unplanned milestone hit me today: An input file was sucessfuly processed by the MapReduce script built on IronPython and the output produced was read into R without a glitch. Congratulate me!
Thanks to all the people who made his possible: Sudar, Rob La Gesse, Louis Gray, Dad, Aswin, Kaushik and innumerable other people
And btw, here is the list of languages currently being used by GoodFather:
- C#
- VB
- Python (Both IronPython and CPython)
- Ruby (Broken Ruby. Due to Aswin’s curse, Ruby doesn’t work on my system. On any platform, any version!)
- MSBuild (Yes, I consider it seperate)
- R Language
And the Python and Ruby parts were coded with Vim, which feels pretty good to use
Now, if only I could get around to documentation work….
