Gaurav Mishra pointed me to this page which already does what this page is trying to do, and is more complete. So, over there folks! (Thanks to Gaurav for pointing it out, and thanks to Abhinav for putting that page up. I am hoping he makes that opensource, because I have some enhancements in mind). This page will no longer be updated. Sad that this died a quick death.

This page contains a growing list of Indians who are active on Twitter. People are added manually added to this list by me, and then checked by a bot at regular intervals to see if they are active. Please leave your twitter page link, a (brief) description of yourself and if you want, a link to your blog in the comments if you want to be included in the list.

Update: Patrix wonders how the bot will work. Very simple - It just pulls out the RSS Feeds of all these twitterers once a week, and considers them active if they had atleast one tweet in the last 15 days. Those who are determined “unactive” by the bot will be hidden - They will be listed here once again when they are active.
